Can I add a tracking number to a shipment?

Yes. Open the shipment under Inbound Shipments at https://dashboard.prepfort.com/ and select Add Tracking Numbers. Choose the carrier and enter every parcel tracking number or the freight PRO number, then save. Accurate tracking helps PrepFort plan receiving and identify late or split deliveries.

Adding tracking does not mean the carrier has the inventory. Use Mark as Shipped only after the shipment has actually been handed to the carrier. For multiple cartons, add all tracking numbers rather than only the first one.
