Amazon FBA and Walmart WFS prep

200+ units per month: $0.85 per unit
500+ units per month: $0.75 per unit
1,000+ units per month: $0.65 per unit
5,000+ units per month: $0.50 per unit

The base prep rate includes receiving, initial inspection, FNSKU labeling, polybagging up to 14 x 20 inches, inventory updates, and shipment-plan creation. Add-on services such as bundling, bubble wrap, oversized bags, new cartons, and LTL palletizing are priced separately. Standard FBA storage is free for the first 14 days, then $40 per pallet per month. A $100 monthly FBA account fee applies.

DTC and multi-channel fulfillment

Pick-and-pack pricing starts at $3.00 for the first item and decreases with monthly order volume. Additional picks, storage, returns, shipping, and supplies are billed separately. Standard storage is $5 per bin or $40 per pallet per month. Shipping and supplies are billed at cost. A $300 monthly minimum applies to pick-and-pack, additional picks, and storage; it does not include shipping or supplies.

Amazon FBA and Walmart WFS prep

Choose this when PrepFort receives, inspects, labels, bags, bundles, boxes, or palletizes inventory before sending it to Amazon or Walmart fulfillment centers. FBA/WFS customers use https://dashboard.prepfort.com/.

DTC, FBM, and multi-channel fulfillment

Choose this when PrepFort stores inventory and ships individual customer orders from Shopify, Amazon FBM, TikTok Shop, WooCommerce, Faire, or another connected sales channel. DTC customers use PrepFort's Packiyo portal.

B2B and retail fulfillment

Choose this for wholesale, retail, distributor, or marketplace replenishment orders that may require carton labels, pallets, routing guides, ASNs, EDI, or delivery appointments. These programs are custom quoted.

Kitting, co-packing, subscription boxes, and corporate gifting

Choose this when components must be assembled, packaged, labeled, personalized, or quality checked before the finished goods are stored or shipped. These projects require an approved scope and quote.

Warehousing and freight

Choose this for storage, carton or pallet forwarding, container unloading, consolidation, or coordinated LTL/FTL transportation. Rates depend on the inventory, handling, and route.

How do I get a quote and start onboarding?

Information needed for an accurate quote

Company and contact information
Service line: FBA/WFS prep, DTC/FBM fulfillment, B2B/retail, kitting, co-packing, warehousing, or freight
Sales channels and marketplaces
Current and expected monthly units or orders
SKU count and average items per order
Product dimensions, weights, fragility, and case packs
Prep, packaging, storage, return, or kitting requirements
Any hazmat, expiration, lot, cold-chain, or regulatory requirements
Shipping origins, destinations, and target launch date

What happens after you approve the quote

PrepFort confirms the scope, pricing, minimums, and responsibilities in writing.
You sign the warehousing or services agreement.
PrepFort creates the correct portal and billing profile.
You connect the required store or marketplace using an authorized connection.
You create the inbound shipment or purchase order and receive shipment-specific instructions.
PrepFort receives and sets up the inventory, then confirms when the account is ready for work or order fulfillment.

Do not ship inventory until onboarding is confirmed and you have the correct receiving address and inbound reference. Your signed quote and agreement control account-specific terms.

Which PrepFort portal should I use?

Amazon FBA and Walmart WFS prep

Use the FBA/WFS portal at https://dashboard.prepfort.com/. This portal is used for marketplace inventory, prep services, inbound shipments to PrepFort, tracking, Amazon shipments, issues, account settings, and FBA/WFS billing.

DTC, Amazon FBM, and multi-channel fulfillment

Use PrepFort's Packiyo portal at https://prepfort.app.packiyo.com/login. This portal is used for DTC inventory, inbound purchase orders, customer orders, shipments, and tracking across connected sales channels.

Billing access

Some DTC billing actions use the billing-profile link sent during onboarding or in an invoice email. Follow that secure link rather than entering payment details in chat.

Never share a portal password with another teammate; each user should have a separate account.

How do I configure FBA/WFS prep and packaging services?

Accepted Answer

Yes. In the FBA/WFS portal at https://dashboard.prepfort.com/, open Inventory, select the item, and use Manage Services to add or update its standard prep and packaging services. Save the changes before creating future shipments.

For a shipment-specific request, open the record under Inbound Shipments and use the Services tab and Manage Services. Add clear Notes when the warehouse needs context, but do not use a note as a substitute for selecting a billable service. Changes may not apply to work that has already started; contact PrepFort for an active shipment.

Question 6

How are FBA/WFS transportation costs calculated and billed?

Accepted Answer

FBA and WFS transportation is separate from PrepFort's per-unit prep fee. The final cost depends on carton or pallet count, weight, dimensions, destination fulfillment center, carrier, and service level.

When you use an Amazon-partnered carrier, Amazon calculates the rate and generally charges it through Seller Central. Make sure the shipment plan uses PrepFort's current ship-from address so Amazon can quote the correct route. PrepFort can help create the shipment plan, but Amazon controls its partnered-carrier rates.

LTL, FTL, storage-and-forward, or other transportation arranged outside an Amazon-partnered workflow must be quoted and approved separately. A portal service selection or tracking entry does not by itself book a carrier.

Your signed quote and warehousing agreement control any account-specific transportation and billing terms.
