How does Amazon FBA and Walmart WFS onboarding work?

Amazon FBA and Walmart WFS onboarding is separate from DTC fulfillment onboarding.

1. Quote and agreement

PrepFort confirms products, volume, prep services, storage, pricing, and any special handling. You approve the quote and sign the warehousing agreement. Standard FBA/WFS terms start at 200 units per month with a $100 monthly account fee, unless the signed agreement says otherwise.

2. Portal access

PrepFort invites you to https://dashboard.prepfort.com/. Each teammate should use a separate login.

3. Marketplace connection

Connect the applicable Seller Central or marketplace account through the authorized connection or permission flow. Do not share the primary marketplace password. The connection supplies the catalog data needed for prep and shipment planning.

4. Catalog and prep setup

Synchronize existing listings or add an eligible item manually. Confirm seller SKUs, identifiers, case packs, dimensions, and required services such as labeling, polybagging, bundling, bubble wrap, or boxing.

5. First inbound shipment

Create the inbound record, add the products and quantities, choose services, receive the correct ship-to instructions, add all tracking or freight information, and mark the shipment shipped only after carrier handoff.

6. Receiving and prep

PrepFort checks in and reconciles the delivery, reports discrepancies or issues, completes the agreed prep, and prepares the outbound FBA/WFS shipment workflow. Timing depends on the received condition, volume, services, marketplace plan, and carrier schedule.

Account setup normally takes 1 to 2 business days after the agreement, required information, and marketplace connection are complete. Operational turnaround is confirmed per shipment.
