How do I change or cancel an order or shipment?

Changes and cancellations are time-sensitive and depend on the service line and current processing stage. Contact PrepFort immediately with the company name, order or shipment reference, requested change, reason, and deadline. A request is not complete until PrepFort confirms it.

DTC, FBM, and multi-channel orders

An order may be changeable or cancellable before warehouse picking, packing, or carrier processing begins. Once work has started, a label has been purchased, or the parcel has been handed to a carrier, the change may be unavailable or may require a carrier intercept, return, or additional charge. Storefront cancellation does not guarantee that warehouse work stops automatically.

Amazon FBA and Walmart WFS shipments

Draft or open shipment details can normally be edited before warehouse or marketplace processing locks the affected fields. Once prep, cartonization, marketplace planning, or dispatch has progressed, contact PrepFort before changing quantities, services, destinations, or transport. A shipment already dispatched to Amazon or Walmart cannot be treated as an editable draft.

Address, SKU, quantity, service, or packaging changes can affect inventory, billing, labels, and carrier charges. PrepFort will confirm what was stopped, what work or cost already occurred, and the next available option. For an urgent request, use chat, phone, or the assigned customer communication channel rather than relying only on a portal note.
