# How are DTC shipping rates calculated?

DTC and multi-channel shipping is managed through Packiyo and billed per shipment for the selected carrier and service. The rate depends on the packed weight and dimensions, origin, destination, shipping zone, service speed, residential or delivery surcharges, and any carrier-specific fees.

Carrier options can include USPS, UPS, FedEx, Better Trucks, Amazon Shipping, DHL eCommerce, DHL International, and other approved regional or international services. A particular carrier or service is not guaranteed for every parcel or destination.

Shipping rules can be configured around goals such as the lowest eligible rate or a required delivery window. The final shipping charge is shown with the shipment or invoice. Shipping is billed separately and does not count toward the $300 monthly services minimum.
