# Can I edit an FBA/WFS shipment after marking it shipped?

It depends on the shipment stage. In the FBA/WFS portal at https://dashboard.prepfort.com/, draft or open inbound shipments can normally be updated before warehouse processing begins. Tracking numbers and customer-visible notes may remain available later, while item quantities, services, and marketplace-controlled fields can become locked.

After PrepFort has started receiving or prep, contact the team before changing quantities or services. Once an outbound shipment has been dispatched to Amazon or Walmart, it cannot be edited as though it were still a draft. A portal edit also does not recall a carrier shipment or automatically change Seller Central.
